TempleFest
September 4th – 7th, 2026
At Prindle Pond Conference Center in Charlton, MA

I am so grateful to be one of this year’s Keynote speakers at TempleFest! TempleFest is the Temple of Witchcraft’s annual summer festival and celebration: a 4-day Pagan and Witchcraft festival at Prindle Pond Conference Center in Charlton, Massachusetts. Onsite lodging available and meals are included with registration. I will be offering:

Devotional Paganism: Godforms, Worship, and Divine Connection: Many Pagans feel a call to devotion and desire a personal relationship with a deity or Power. However, many of us approach devotion with unhelpful ideas imprinted by our parent culture. Learn how to support connection with the gods and spirits, ways to begin a relationship, how to seek out and interpret signs, implicit and explicit spirit contracts, and different methods for communication.

Keynote Address: The Thirteen Lessons of Community Organizing:
Explore some of the many lessons learned from a little over twenty years of pluralist Pagan community and event organization. These are some of the concepts Irene wishes she’d known when she got started, some of what she’s observed from her years in service, and a few things that are true that no one wants to talk about. Are you building community? Come learn a few shortcuts to support you on your path.

Keynote Address: The Far Side of Fimbulwinter: Building the World to Come:
The mythologies of various cultures speak of dark times when relationships of all kinds break down. These end-of-a-cycle stories also point toward what comes after – a renewal and revitalization of the world. Mystics, visionaries, and spiritual leaders are needed not only to fight the current battles but also to envision and help lay the foundation of the world to come. Explore approaches to focus, vision, and resilience in the face of our very own Ragnarök cycle.

Autumntide: Dreaming the Dark Season
Sunday, September 13th, 10:30 AM
Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Wyoming Valley

The autumnal equinox is near and we begin to focus our energy inward, wrapping up summer projects and activities and contemplating the season ahead. As our ancestors in northern climates did, it is time to prepare for the challenges we know are coming. From creating winter tonics and home remedies to preparing our homes for more time spent indoors to selecting a path of study, the tide of autumn is rolling in. Explore approaches from Pagan spirituality for deepening connection and cultivating joy during the cooler, darker part of the year.

Please join us in person at 20 Church Rd, Wyoming, PA 18644. To stream the service, visit https://www.wyomingvalleyuu.org/worship.html

Her stories are those of sovereignty: a being who makes her own way in the world according to her own values and desires. Learn about the fierce side of this beloved deity and find inspiration to step into your own power.

Healing the Ancestors: Paradoxes, Remediation, and Luck
Friday, October 30th, 7 PM on Zoom

We inherit more than the color of our eyes from our ancestors. Along with physical characteristics, our bloodline includes some less tangible traits.  Science calls these non-physical traits hereditary or genetic memory.  Some of our inherited traits are incredibly beneficial – we carry skills and abilities from our forebears. However, this same connection also means that we can carry some of our ancestors’ pain. Explore the nature of Ancestral Paradoxes (inherited challenges and obstacles), how to remediate them, and techniques for improving luck in your own life as well as your entire family line.

This workshop will be recorded for folks who can’t make the Zoom in person, and sent out for download after the workshop concludes. The workshop fee is $15. Sliding scale ticket options of $5 and $10 are available for folks who face financial obstacles to attending the workshop. Register here.

This workshop will be recorded for folks who can’t make the Zoom in person, and sent out for download after the workshop concludes. The workshop fee is $15. Sliding scale ticket options of $5 and $10 are available for folks who face financial obstacles to attending the workshop. Register here.

March

The Sacred Space Conference
March 25th – 28th, 2027
At The Hotel at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD

I will be teaching and performing with Kindred Crow at the 2027 Sacred Space Conference!

Gràrvölur Seidhr Ritual: Gràrvölur Seidhr is a divinatory practice rooted in the lore and mythology of pre-Christian Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Scandinavia and Germanic Europe. In this divinatory ritual, participants can ask questions of our ancestors, deities, and other spirits. Seers will act as conduits to the beings sought and channel or relay answers. This seidhr ritual was developed and is offered by a team of practitioners led by Irene and Ash Glasse.

Warden Trees: Reviving Scandinavian Guardian Tree Practices: Trees appear as powerful allies within many spiritual and magickal systems. Scandinavian and Germanic history and folklore include descriptions of the vǫrðr or “warden tree.” These beloved trees defended their land and community from misfortune of all kinds. The reverence for warden trees was so great that family surnames can be related to the specific type of warden tree on a given farmstead. Explore the origin of and historical customs surrounding the establishment of and relationship with a warden tree. Learn tools and techniques for bringing this practice forward into contemporary life.

All Levels Yoga: Connect breath, body, and spirit through movement. This class features an accessible pace of foundational yoga poses with focused guidance and alignment cues. Stretch, strengthen, and de-stress with this stabilizing, focused practice. All Levels Yoga is most accessible to people who have some basic familiarity with yoga and are able to comfortably take low lunges (lunge with one foot forward and the back knee touching the mat), tabletop, warrior two and other foundational yoga poses. Modifications to increase or decrease challenge will be offered – everyBody welcome! Some mats available for use.
